At Norma Farming, we are proud to be a leading agricultural enterprise in Namibia, dedicated to sustainability, ethical production, and community well-being. Located in the heart of Namibia’s vast landscapes, we focus on producing premium products that serve both local and international markets while ensuring the welfare of our employees and surrounding communities.

Our vision is to be a pioneer in sustainable farming practices, blending traditional methods with modern innovation. We strive to create high-quality products that respect the environment, promote animal welfare, and contribute to the socio-economic growth of Namibia. Our goal is to operate in a way that ensures the long-term health of our land, people, and products.

At Norma Farming, we strive to lead through sustainable practices and innovation. Our goals are to:

  • Preserve Indigenous Breeds: Sustain Nguni cattle and Kaoko goats for their resilience and quality.
  • Promote Sustainability: Apply eco-friendly farming and charcoal production to protect natural resources.
  • Expand Globally: Grow our presence by delivering premium, ethically produced products.
  • Support Communities: Create jobs, provide training, and invest in local communities for lasting impact.

We are committed to a sustainable future for both the land and its people.

We specialize in breeding 100% indigenous Nguni cattle and Kaoko goats, both renowned for their resilience and adaptability to Namibia’s arid conditions. Our sustainable farming practices ensure superior meat quality while maintaining the health and welfare of our livestock.

Our eco-friendly debushing efforts help restore grazing lands while producing high-quality, low-emission charcoal for local use and international export. This charcoal is valued for its consistent burn and sustainability, aligning with global environmental standards.

Our ethically-produced Nguni cow hides, known for their distinctive patterns and durability, are used in the creation of artisanal leather goods. These hides are valued for their quality and unique appearance, making them highly desirable in local and international markets.

Norma Farming operates its own abattoir, ensuring strict adherence to hygiene, animal welfare, and quality meat production. By managing the entire process from farm to fork, we provide our customers with fresh, ethically-sourced products.

At Norma Farming, we believe that our success is deeply rooted in the well-being of our employees. We provide safe and ideal working conditions, ensuring that each worker is treated with dignity and respect. Proper housing is offered to all employees living on the farm, with access to basic amenities, fostering a supportive and productive work environment.

Norma Farming is committed to supporting both our employees and the broader communities of Outjo, Otjiwarongo, and surrounding areas. Our CSI initiatives focus on improving education, health care, and infrastructure, contributing to the overall development and well-being of the people. We actively invest in programs that provide training and resources to empower the local population, aiming to uplift the community while enhancing employment opportunities and economic growth.
